March 15, 2008   Washington Bus Trip

bulletTo the National Air and Space Museum's Udvar Hazy Center at Washington Dulles Airport.
bulletLeaves GAAM at 8:30 am.  Approximately 4 hours at the Udvar Hazy Center  followed by a two and half hour Dinner stop at Baltimore's Inner Harbor.
bulletCost $43 per person (Dinner not included)
bulletReservations and payment required by March 5, 2008.

April 26, 2008   Membership and Tour Guide Meeting

bulletMuseum members and volunteers are welcome to attend.
bullet1 pm in the museum workshop.

May 3, 2008   Museum Opens for the 2008 Season

bulletTour hours: Friday and Saturday 10 am. to 4 pm., Sunday 11 am. to 4 pm.
bulletOpen other hours and year round by appointment.

June 1, 2008   "Barnstormer Day"

bulletAll are welcome to a living display of aircraft & automobiles.
bulletHours: 10 am to 4 pm.
bulletMembers free. Non-members $5 adults, Children age 6 to 12 -$3, Age 5 and under free.
bulletBreakfast, lunch and refreshments available.

June 14, 2008   Big Band Concert & Swing Dance

Featuring the "Lebanon Big Swing Band" and a pre-show Antique Aircraft Parade of Flight by the museum airplanes.

bulletJoin us for an old fashion hangar dance.
bulletBring your dancing shoes and a lawn chair.
bulletHours: Gates open at 4:30, parade of flight at 5:45, Concert 7 to 8:30

July 12 & 13, 2008   "Wings & Wheels Extravaganza" Fly-In & Vintage Automobile Show

Bring your antique, classic or unusual aircraft, automobile, or motorcycle for public display.

bulletPerformance by the Hill-to-Hill Brass Quintet, Saturday at 10:30 am.

bulletEarly bird camping and registration Friday afternoon, July 11.
bulletSaturday night dinner in the pavilion for campers & a movie in the hangar to follow.
bulletAviation & Automobile Flea-Market spaces available (Vintage parts & memorabilia only, limited number of spaces) Contact us for details.
bulletRegistration & admission fee of $5 for automobiles 1946 to 1977 ( no newer cars please).
bulletGeneral Public Admission: Members free. Non-members $5 adults. Children age 6 to12 -$3, Age 5 and under free.
bulletFor safety, all flying ends at dusk!
bulletOvernight aircraft must be tied down ... bring your own tie-downs.

August 16, 2008   Golden Age "Flying Circus" Air Show
(Rain Date: August 17, 2008)

Take a Step back in time to the days of the barnstormer and the flying circus. Experience an authentic 1920's air show.

bulletAirfield closed to fly-in traffic, except for aircraft with prior reservations. Contact the museum for a reservation, a limited number are available.

September 6, 2008   Porsche 356 Registry Car Show

bulletFeaturing over 200 Type 356 Porsches built between 1948 and 1965.
bulletMany later Porsches on display in the Parking lot "Porsche Corral".
bulletCars on display from 9am to 1:30pm.
